Services for Mrs. Jan Ratcliff of Brookhaven will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at Riverwood Family with visitation from 9:00 until the time of the service and interment at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Jan Ratcliff, 71, passed away Feb. 15, 2023, at her residence.

She was born May 1, 1951, in Greenville, S.C.  to the late Victor E. Hinton and Annie Mae Hinton.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Frank Eugene Hinton; sister Vicky Hinton Pressly; and grandson, Skylar Lane Wease.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years James F. Ratcliff; children, Robert W. Ratcliff, and Sonya A Ratcliff; sister, Micki Hinton Jordan (Daniel); four grandchildren, Alexis Diana Smith, Christen E. Ratcliff, Christopher Wease and Alyssa Grace Wease and three great grandchildren, Isaiah Wease, Michael Wease and Olivia Wease.

She is also survived by nephews, Blake Hinton, Dillon Hinton, Matthew Hinton, Daniel Smith and Derrick Smith; nieces, Kathryn Pressly Hinton, and Ashley Patrick Hinton; and cousins, Laura Cheek Taylor (Tom), and Teresa Hinton Satone.    

She will be missed by all that loved her.
