BROOKHAVEN — Police Chief Kenneth Collins is asking the public to aid officers in investigating an auto burglary which occurred this morning around 5:40 a.m. Officers responded to a call in the 500 block of Chickasaw Street.

No damage was reported but a firearm was taken out of the vehicle. Brookhaven Police Department asks that anyone with cameras in the area to check them and see if anyone suspicious was in the area from February 22 at 8:30 p.m. to February 23 at 5:40 a.m.
