Brookhaven building inspector David Fearn gave an update on other area construction projects in the works. He said his best guess is Blue Sky should be close to opening in the next 30 days. They have finished their building and are working on finishing the pumps and installing tanks. 

“They are working steadily,” Fearn said. 

Tractor Supply should be done by May, he said. The building is up but they will need to pour more concrete on the exterior and will turn it over to people to finish the inside build out. 

K&B’s new location on south US51 could be finished in the coming months depending on when they are able to get the interior of the restaurant finished. Fearn said he has not heard anything definitive from the company yet. The seafood company will offer dine in seating and a broader menu once they complete the restaurant.
