BROOKHAVEN — Nicole Case, Laina Goldsmith and Charlee Laird held a giant pair of scissors and snipped a ribbon to celebrate the opening of their business Three Sisters Boutique at its new location. They made the move to 627 Brookway Boulevard in January.

Three Sisters gets its name from sisters Case and Goldsmith and their sister-in-law Laird. Sandwiches, a fruit and veggie tray, cookies, bottled water and a pudding with oreos crushed on top provided sustenance to any visitors. Laird, Goldsmith and Case walked around and spoke to customers and well-wishers during the lunch hour Thursday.

The new space is 6,000 square feet and allows Three Sisters Boutique to have their childrens and women’s sections under the same roof. Three Sisters has come a long way from its start in 2018.

“It feels great to celebrate today. We started out in my sister’s house and we never dreamed we would be here today,” Goldsmith said. “We first moved to a little building on 84 and then one on 51 next to Rallys. This move opened up room to grow even bigger than we were.”

In the back, they built a little daycare so the sisters’ kids can be there.

Case said the new building makes going back and forth from the womens and childrens departments easier. The space is split in half with women’s clothing on the right and childrens on the left.

“We are starting a website too. We have been able to have more gifts and inventory,” Case said. “Our business grew and took off. Hopefully we don’t have to move again. We never had the room to carry more inventory until the move.”

Located at the old Mint Consignment building, they are in a section of town loaded with boutiques. Laird said she hopes they don’t have to move again because their location on Brookway Boulevard is perfect. She added the business has grown from selling on social media to what they are today with a physical and online store.

“This is a big enough location for everything we are doing,” Laird said. “We can reach a lot of people online shopping. We would like to thank our customers and employees. We wouldn’t be here without any of them.”

Three Sisters is open six days a week. They have both of the phone numbers it had at the previous locations — 601-265-2113 for the children’s section and 601-265-2145 for the women’s.
