The inaugural “Making Mississippi Entrepreneur and Entertainment Gala” will be Saturday, April 1, at the Lincoln Civic Center.

The event is intended to highlight people from Southwest Mississippi who have positively impacted the lives of StORI Studios owners Kristopher and Orionna Coleman.

“We want to fill the room with entrepreneurs and entertainers who are fulfilling their purpose and are ready to network and/or collaborate with others who are doing the same,” Orionna Coleman said.

The 6 p.m. gala will provide a “thank you” to honorees for inspiration to create and build talents and businesses in Mississippi, as well as networking opportunities.

“The ultimate goal for the gala is to celebrate how far we’ve come while encouraging and inspiring each other to keep going further,” Coleman said.

StORI Studios is a marketing and production studio formed to create and share stories that are original, realistic and innovative to uplift, inform and transform the audience their content reaches.

“Our motto, ‘Your Story Matters,’ speaks for any and every one who has positive stories to share in whatever format they want to share it,” said Coleman.
