We have chosen the winner in Jesus

Fellow Christians do not be discouraged or dismayed when the forces of evil do what their father wishes of them. Satan came to “steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10) so that’s what those who follow him must do. Those whose allegiance is to Christ Jesus are not required to “steal, kill, and destroy”, we are to be those who “do justly, love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God” (Micah 6:8).

Do not be awed by the violent mobs getting so much attention by the “news media” (in fact, don’t believe much of anything they say). Even the Horses and Chariots of fire that surrounded Elisha and his servant were invisible to their enemies. It was true then and it is certainly so today that “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them” (2 Kings 6:16-17).

In this great nation we call the United States of America reside millions of peaceful, God fearing citizens who would never think to “kill, steal, and destroy,” who are going about their daily lives with the expectation that at any moment God will open the eyes of Satan’s blind followers and cause them to turn away from following his will that destroys every thing and everyone choosing to follow it.

This great turmoil is simply a time when battle lines are being drawn, and sides for the coming conflict are being chosen. We have been given the opportunity to determine our eternal residence, these confusing times are just that, a time of decision. Please choose wisely my friends, as for me and mine, we have chosen the One Who has ALREADY WON as our Leader.

We must do our part as those loyal to Jesus Christ, by being calm and considerate of others, by voting wisely, and by continuing our witness for Christ Jesus, above all else, we must be people of prayer. Like Esther (4 :13-14), you and I were born for such a time as this! Also, like Esther, if we keep silent we will perish. It is our Christian obligation to speak up, and to speak out against the evil of this world. We will not be silenced if we believe; Jesus has already won, and we have chosen Him!
