BROOKHAVEN — A two vehicle wreck at the intersection of First and Court Streets sent one driver to the hospital and another driver refused treatment. The call for the wreck came in around 3:00 p.m. and by 3:30 p.m. the scene had been cleared of vehicles.

Brookhaven Police Department officers stated there were only two people involved. One was the male driver of an older model blue Ford F-150 and the other was the male driver of a newer red Ford F-150.

The driver of the blue Ford was loaded on to a gurney and wheeled to an ambulance as he held something to his head. He will be taken to the hospital.

Bozeman Tire picked up the blue truck while Davis Wrecker picked up the red truck.

Scott Williams, of VDCI Brookhaven Office, tended to one of the drivers at the scene of the wreck. He and a few workers at the AJFC Community Action Agency building commented on the need for a four-way stop at the intersection.

Traffic is flowing normally at the location as after-school traffic picks up.
