Brookhaven High School’s Polymer Science 2 and Advanced Placement Chemistry classes this week hosted Kayra Johnson, Bilingual Senior Environmental Specialist, Global Environmental Affairs, of The AES Corporation. Johnson told students about the environmental engineering field, and some interesting projects she has worked on, including the Deepwater Horizon cleanup. Johnson will speak next week to Polymer Science 1 and dual-credit biology classes.
