Russell joins Cougars coaching staff

BROOKHAVEN — Former Mississippi State quarterback Tyler Russell, known for his arm strength and dual threat capabilities during the Dan Mullen era in Starkville, has joined the coaching staff at Brookhaven Academy.

Russell will be an assistant coach with the varsity team, Brookhaven Academy announced. He was born and raised in Meridian and played high school football there.

Russell visited Brookhaven Academy this past September to share his testimony.
