Bakers dozen: Local resturants earn As in recent inspections

BROOKHAVEN — Mississippi Department of Health completed 13 health inspections on local restaurants and other places of food service in the local community over the past two weeks. All of these businesses and schools passed their inspection with flying colors.
PJ’s Coffee at 771 Brookway Boulevard received its third straight A on March 30. A-One Stop #1 on 313 Industrial Park Road received its fifth straight A and The Fish Fry received its 12th straight A grade from the health department on the same day.
On April 3, A-One Stop #2, located at 1702 US84 East, received its second straight A. Cracker Barrel, located at 806 US51 North, received its third straight A. GridIron Grill, located at 1454 Union Street Extension, received its fourth straight A.
Rally’s at 755 Brookway Boulevard earned its second straight A since the business opened. Bromas at 1203 Hampton Drive earned its 14th straight A from the department of health restaurant inspections.
Lipsey Middle School, Fannie Mullins School and Alexander Junior High all earned As last Tuesday from the health department.
Adeles on the Boulevard at 508 Brookway Boulevard earned its third straight A. Spartan Barbell and Fitness, located at 1037 US84 East, earned an A on its first health inspection.
