Brookhaven High girls’ track and field repeats as state champs

The Brookhaven High girls’ track and field team reigns once more over the MHSAA 5A classification after capturing a second straight state title on Wednesday at Pearl High School.
The Panthers are coached by Darien Dorsey, Tonya Johns, Jocelyn Robinson and Demario Richard.
BHS got a win in the 300-meter hurdles from junior Sierra Edwards. The team also placed first in the 4×800-relay race.
Additionally, BHS senior Brodie Ezell won both the boys’ discus and shot put.
