Five Panthers selected to All-Star Tennis team

BROOKHAVEN — Tennis season is not entirely over for the Brookhaven High School Panthers who were runner-up to the State Champion Lafayette County. Five Panthers were selected to the All-Star tennis team by the Mississippi Association of Coaches.

Robert Adcock and Jeremiah Layton will represent Brookhaven on the South Team for the boys. Sarah Todd Adcock, Lucy Allen and Lily Gray will represent Brookhaven on the South Team for the girls. Ole Brook Head Coach Becky Green will serve as a coach for the South All-Star Team.

The players will take center stage at Parham Bridges Tennis Center in Jackson at 1 p.m. this Thursday in the final competition of their high school careers. Admission is free.
