Funeral services for Willie Calvin Wallace will be on Monday, June 12th, 2023, at Brookhaven Funeral Home at 2:00 PM in Brookhaven, MS with burial to follow in the Bethel Methodist Cemetery. Bro. Lonnie Case and Bro. Andy May will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on June, 12, 2023, from 5 until 8 PM.

Mr. Willie Calvin Wallace, 81, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on June 9, 2023, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born on January 15, 1942, in Meadville, MS, to William Cleve and Mary Louise Coleman Wallace.

He was a member of Bethel Methodist Church; worked for many years as a rig superintendent with the Penrod drilling company and owned W.C. Wallace Logging Company. He enjoyed fishing and staying at his camp, raising beagles and rabbit hunting with dogs. Some of his favorite foods were boiled peanuts and watermelon. Calvin loved visiting with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings, Joyce Wallace, Aleane Wilkinson, Johnny Wallace, Sherrill Wallace, Carol Wallace; and special brother-in-law, Jackie Wilkinson. He was also preceded by his mother-in-law, Ms. Dorothy Brooks; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Irby.

Survivors are his wife, Kathy; Children, Becky Carroll (Darrell), Faye Temple (Billy), John Wallace, Denise White (Randy), Dwayne Roberts (Dana) and Chad Roberts; Siblings, Irene Calcote, Mary Ann Ritchie (John), Elizabeth Wallace, Myrtle Cartwright (Paul), Ray Wallace (Paulette), Paul Wallace (Sonnia), Roy Wallace (Susan); Brothers-in-law, Van Moore and Mark Moore (Beverly); 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Ministries for your care for Mr. Calvin during our time of need. We extend a big thanks to Sonya and Leonae at StaHome healthcare. We also want to extend a thank you to all the friends that have shown their love in many ways.
