An Endangered/Missing Child Alert has been issued by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation for 12-year-old Nya Slaughter, of Jackson.

Slaughter was last seen at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, walking north on North West Street. She is described as a black female, 5-foot-8, weighing 110 pounds, with long black braided hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Slaughter is asked to contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-359-3125, or call 911.
