BROOKHAVEN — Wand Feed and Seed Store is doing its part to help the Brookhaven Animal Rescue League by hosting a donation drop-off at the store at 403 US51 until 2 p.m. today. Cat and Dog food, litter, paper towels, trash bags and much more is needed to help BARL. 

Monetary donations are also accepted as they were gathered in a bucket on a B92.1FM table cloth. People can also bring bleach, dawn dishwashing liquid, ammonia, laundry detergent, vinegar, rubber bowls, lime dip and non-squeaking rubber dog toys and large rubber water bowls. All proceeds go towards BARL which helps rescue abandoned dogs and cats. 

BARL will have a $10 microchip event on July 8 from 12 to 3 p.m. to help owners ensure their pets could be identified at a vet or shelter if they were ever to become lost or stolen. Dogs must be on a leash and cats in a carrier for the event.
