BROOKHAVEN — The Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the 49th Ole Brook Festival this October. Ole Brook Festival is one of many annual celebrations held each year such as Girls Night Out, Christmas Open House, Brookstock and others.

Friday, October 6th, kicks off the Ole Brook festival weekend with live music and food trucks from 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Brookhaven. Saturday, October 7, vendors, a classic car show, arts and crafts, food trucks, kids zone and live music will be out in downtown from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vendor forms for the event can be found online at BrookhavenChamber.com.

People should also know there is an Independence Day Firework Show planned Monday night at dark. Sunset is currently 8:15 p.m. so final light is around 8:45 p.m. Lincoln County Civic Center and the Sports Plex hosts the firework show each year and is found at 1096 Belt Line Drive NE.
