Brookhaven residents may have noticed that trash pickup did not occur on Tuesday, July 4.

Arrow Disposal Services Inc. adjusted its pickup schedule due to the holiday. While Monday’s pickup was unaffected, Tuesday’s pickup will be Wednesday. Each day’s pickup for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day. Wednesday’s will be Thursday; Thursday’s will be Friday; and Friday’s will be Saturday.

The City requests residents place their garbage bins at the street the night prior to their scheduled pickups.
