BROOKHAVEN — It appears very few customers are without power according to Entergy, Southwest Electric and Magnolia Electric as a severe storm moves through Southwest Mississippi with sheets of rain and gusts of wind.

Magnolia Electric reports 97 customers are without power in Lawerence County. Entergy reports 4 customers in Lincoln County are without power and Southwest Electric reports six customers in Lincoln County are without power.

Nearly half an inch of rain has fallen in Brookhaven over the past hour according to the National Weather Service office in Jackson. NWS Jackson forecasts a 70 percent chance of precipitation for the rest of today.
