BROOKHAVEN — Shaneya Milligan sifted through tables of books as she looked for potential treasures Wednesday afternoon. Lincoln-Lawerence-Franklin Regional Library opened its annual Friends of the Library book sale Monday and will sell books until July 21.

The books were donated to the library and are in gently used or better condition. Proceeds from the sales go towards helping the library.

Books on sale represent the children, teen fiction, mystery, fiction, non-fiction and cookbook genres. Visit the library from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to participate in the sale until July 21.
