WESSON — A week after Franklin Telephone expressed interest in providing broadband in Lincoln County, a Broadband focus meeting is set for next week at Co-Lin. Deadline to register for the meeting is Friday. 

Co-Lin will host the focus meeting July 19 at 10:30 a.m. in the Co-Lin Thames Center at 1028 J.C. Redd Drive. Lunch will be provided at the meeting but people need to RSVP at 601-276-3836. 

Internet Service Providers have been invited to this focus meeting to learn more about their workforce needs in Southwest Mississippi. Service providers input is vital to moving the area to the top of the priority list for broadband funding. 

People are also invited to complete a survey before the meeting to help with the broadband expansion project.
