Boutique will celebrate ribbon cutting Thursday

BROOKHAVEN — I Am She Boutique will celebrate another milestone this Thursday nearly two weeks after celebrating its grand opening with a day of shopping, music and wine. Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting Thursday.

The Ribbon Cutting ceremony is set for 1 p.m. Owner Keiquanae Smith will cut the red ribbon with a giant pair of scissors at her business. I Am She Boutique is located at 714 Halbert Heights Road in Brookhaven.

Smith is originally a native of Union Church and went to high school at Jefferson County High in Fayette. She said Brookhaven is where she spends a lot of her time. Smith owns a photography business and is a social worker.
