Fatima Stafford, Maria Jose’ Barrera, and Bryce Smith are representing Brookhaven High as Secretary of State student ambassadors for the 2023-2024 school year.

“Today we discussed the importance of voter turnout, and the issues surrounding our communities when it comes to misinformation. We got to hear from Secretary (Michael) Watson and his team on issues besides voting such as lands, businesses, school funding, and so much more. I am beyond excited to bring the information we’re learning back to Brookhaven and our schools,” Barrera said. Stafford said this is “a learning experience that all high schoolers can benefit from.”
