School of Arts to host Fall Dance Concert

The Mississippi School of the Arts Department of Dance will present its 2023 Fall Dance Concert Sept. 27-28.

The free event is open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. each night in the Enochs Black Box Theater on MSA campus. The concert will feature the 14th and 15th Repertory Dance Company.

Choreographic works by guest artists Arianna Marcell, of Kinetic Etchings Dance Project, and Antonio Fini, of Fini Dance NYC, will be featured. The concert will highlight new works by senior student choreographers Melyssa Clark, Karah Courtney, Charleigh McDuffie and Kyesha Quinn, with artistic direction by Tammy Stanford, MSA Dance founder.

MSA is an 11th and 12th grade visual and performing arts residential public high school in Brookhaven. MSA also has a Collegiate Academy in which qualified students can also earn an associate degree through Copiah-Lincoln Community College at no cost while earning their high school diploma.
