A service of remembrance to celebrate the life of Miss Kaelyn Louise Barnes will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at the Hepzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Robinson officiating, assisted by Rev. Ricky Breazealle. On Oct. 10, 2023, little Kaelyn was carried by the Angels to rest in the arms of Jesus. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening, Oct. 14, beginning at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 12 noon until the hour of service at 2 p.m., all at Hepzibah Baptist Church.

Dawson Barnes, Kaleb Smith, Adam Wilson and Garrett Barnes will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Wyatt Pace and Bryson Barnes.

Born on June 11, 2023, in Brookhaven, MS, Kaelyn’s time on this earth was far too brief. Her infectious smile and gentle spirit touched the hearts of everyone she encountered.
In her few months with us, Kaelyn brought immense happiness to her parents, siblings, and extended family. She filled their lives with boundless love and pure innocence. The memories they share will forever be a treasure that brightened their lives.

She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Ronnie Joe Watts, her paternal great-grandparents, Sammy and Pat Barnes and Frankie Louise Buffington.

Kaelyn’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones; they include, her parents, Dillan Barnes and Ragen Watts of Silver Creek; her sisters, Karcey Barnes, Kyleigh Barnes, Raelan Barnes; her brother, Bryson Barnes, all of the home; maternal grandparents, Glen and Amanda Pace of Bogue Chitto; paternal grandparents, Bo and Dee Dee Barnes of Silver Creek; maternal great-grandparents, Randy and Gena Landry of Brookhaven; paternal great-grandparents, Raymond “Buff” Buffington and Cecil and Rosemary Ward.  In addition, Kaelyn leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family members.
