BROOKHAVEN — It was hard to keep a dry eye during the Breast Cancer Survivors presentation at Brookhaven Academy’s Tip-Off Classic Monday night. Brookhaven Academy’s breast cancer survivor was Bonnie Palmer.

BA won their game 58-48 to open the season and finish the first day of the tip-off classic. They will take the court again tonight when they play Simpson Academy at 7:45 p.m.
