BROOKHAVEN — Midsouth Association of Independent Schools named several Brookhaven Academy Cougars to the 5A All MAIS softball team this week. BA finished as state runner up to Parklane.

Parklane Academy’s head coach Greg Gatlin was named head coach of the year.

Representing Brookhaven Academy on the All-Mais squad is Annaston Poole, Ann Elise Duncan and Kensy Convington.

Copiah Academy landed Charley Grace Davis, Cayman Walker, Marisa Spitchley and Stella Roberts on the team.

Parklane Academy landed Issue Coker, Anna Sawyer, and player of the year Ashleigh Reed Sharp on the team.
