BROOKHAVEN — Janie’s Bakery is a local favorite for its delicious chicken on a stick. Kings Daughter Medical Center is the main health care provider in Lincoln County and both passed health inspections this week.

Mississippi Department of Health inspected five Brookhaven establishments this week. Bumpers, Jaine’s Pastry Shop, KDMC, Walmart Deli and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store all earned A ratings.

Bumpers, located at 108 US51 North, earned an A for the second straight time. Jaine’s at 206 South Whitworth Avenue earned an A rating for the 16th straight time since 2016.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, located at 1207 Hampton Drive, earned an A for the 10th time. A handful of B ratings for minor violations have kept Cracker Barrel from keeping a hot streak of A ratings.

KDMC, located at 427 US51 North, earned an A rating for the 15th straight time since 2016.

Walmart Deli, located at 960 Brookway Boulevard, earned an A rating for the fifth straight time since 2021.
