Monticello Elementary School will be closed for all classes and activities Tuesday, Dec. 5, due to continued plumbing issues and repairs.

The Lawrence County School District made the announcement about 2:45 p.m. Monday.

All other county schools — including Rod Paige Middle and Lawrence County High — will be open and operate on regular schedules.
