BROOKHAVEN — Mark your calendar for a big event at the Lincoln County Civic Center. Civic Center Director Chaston Bullock said he is excited to offer a show featuring “bubble magic.”

Circus POP the Giant Bubble Show will come to Lincoln County in 2024. Bullock said the Lincoln County Civic Center will host the show on Jan. 17. Logan Jimenez is the lone performer in the circus show. It features 20-foot-long bubbles and other wacky stunts.

Shows will start at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Online tickets are $6 for kids 3-12, $9 for seniors and $12 for adults. Tickets at the door will be $8 for kids 3-12, $10 for seniors 65 and up and $14 for adults.

“The promoter for the show is from Iowa and does shows around the area. This is one of the shows they will do and we hope to bring others,” Bullock said. “I’m excited and hope we can expand on what we do around here and have different shows to excited the community and have different things people can see. The Civic Center has a lot of things that come here. We want to bring other things to give more variety and give people a chance to see different events.”
