He loved attending his church functions as many as he could for as long as his health allowed. Our Dad was an avid lifelong fox hunter which now would be called a coyote hunter. He would raise and train Walker hounds to run after the game with a fierce competition to have the best dog at the hunt. This hobby of his brought about many friends along the way and his name would be mentioned with many throughout the Southern States.
