BROOKHAVEN — Wind is roaring and power is knocked out for residents across Southwest Mississippi. Power companies are working to restore power as they safely can.

Several power outages are reported in Lincoln County as of right now. Southwest Electric reports 36 customers are without power in Lincoln County and 7 Copiah County customers are without power. Magnolia Electric reports 861 customers in Lincoln County are without power and 131 Entergy customers are without power in Lincoln County. Entergy reports 70 Copiah County customers without power.

In neighboring counties, Southwest Electric reports Franklin County is without power with 905 affected customers. Magnolia Electric reports 120 customers are without power in Lawrence County and Entergy reports 115 customers in Lawrence County are without power.
