BROOKHAVEN — Three local establishments earned A ratings from the Mississippi Department of Health. MSDH publishes restaurant inspection reports on their website throughout the year. 

Bowie Bar-B-Que, Sones General Store and Diner and Star Drive In in Brookhaven all earned A ratings from the MSDH.

Sones, located at 1681 MS 550 NW, earned its ninth straight A rating since 2013. 

Bowie Bar-B-Que, located at 333 Magee Drive, earned its second straight A rating and 11th A rating since 2016. Bowie has earned five B ratings since 2016. 

Star Drive In, located at 702 East Monticello Street, earned its eighth straight A rating since 2020.
