Hinds Community College awarded 887 degrees and certificates to nearly 600 graduates in fall graduation ceremonies on Dec. 14, 2023. A number of graduates received more than one credential.

In total, 126 students graduated cum laude with a grade point average of 3.2 to 3.59; 72 graduated magna cum laude with a grade point average of 3.6 to 3.99 and 20 graduated summa cum laude with a grade point average of 4.0.

Among those who graduated were:

• McComb — Lakesha Coleman, Tylan Magee

• Sontag — Karlea Dixon

• Wesson — Shanequa Belton, William Davis
