Local establishments ace inspections

BROOKHAVEN — Six local establishments passed restaurant inspections this week. The Mississippi Department of Health reports inspections on an online database.
Krystals, Donut Palace, Knight’s Deer Processing and Meat Market, Sullivan’s Grocery, The Tuckers Spot and Mississippi Ice Daiquiri Shop earned A ratings.
Krystals is located at 1206 Brookway Boulevard. The A rating is the 11th straight A rating they have had since 2019. Since 2016, Krystals has earned 16 A ratings.
Knights Deer Processing is located at 1210 Nola Road NE and earned a 13th straight A rating since its first inspection in 2018.
Donut Palace, located at 412 West Monticello Street, earned its seventh straight A rating since 2018.
Sullivan’s Grocery, located at 215 US 51 North, earned its sixth straight A since 2021. Sullivan’s has eight A ratings since 2019.
The Tuckers Spot earned its second straight A rating since opening at 990 Old US51 NE
Mississippi Ice Daiquiri Shop earned an A rating for the second straight time since opening at 214 Whitworth Avenue.
