Bobcats take Ingomar to the buzzer in state championship game

JACKSON — Bogue Chitto fell 48-46 to Ingomar in the MHSAA 2A Boys Basketball State Championship final at the Mississippi Coliseum Friday. A final shot at the buzzer bounced off the rim no good for Bogue Chitto.

Bogue Chitto held a 26-21 lead at halftime. The Bobcats were up 13-9 after the end of the first quarter.

Bogue Chitto had its longest lead of the first half at 26-19 on an offensive rebound putback by forward Tripp McCaffrey late in the second quarter.
