Coach Larry Calhoun, star of the M2L Exercise Break videos, presented the program to students in all grades , as well as faculty and staff. Even Principal Dr. LaRenda Harrison and Assistant Principal Felicia Thornton participated in the fun. Move to Learn is a joint effort of The Bower Foundation and the Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Healthy Schools. These brief, organized, and free classroom movement breaks can help teachers manage their students’ energy levels so that after a fitness break, children’s brains are more focused and ready to learn or take a test.
