BROOKHAVEN — Spring has arrived and eight Brookhaven establishments passed health inspections. The Mississippi Department of Health reports health inspections in an online database. 

On February 29, McDonalds earned an A rating to improve from a B rating in Dec. 2023. McDonalds is located at 952 Brookway Boulevard in Brookhaven and has earned 11 A ratings since 2016. Dairy Queen, located at 1003 Brookway Boulevard, also celebrated leap day with an A rating. It is their sixth straight A since 2019. 

On March 4, Ole Brook Nutrition earned an A rating for the third straight time since 2022. Ole Brook Nutrition is located at 519 Brookway Boulevard. 

Health inspectors has a busy day on March 8th visiting A-One Stop #3 and #4, Brookway Market Basket and PJ’s Coffee. 

PJ’s Coffee, located at 771 Brookway Boulevard, earned an A rating for the fourth straight time since 2021. Brookway Market Basket, located at 835 Brookway Boulevard, earned an A rating for the ninth straight time since 2014. 

A One Stop #3 earned an A rating to improve from a B rating in February 2023. The gas station is located at 701 US51 North. 

A One Stop #4 earned a B rating to snap an A rating streak of two. The gas station is located at 1410 US51 NE.
