Two Southwest Mississippi Community College Phi Theta Kappa members have been named to the PTK All-Mississippi Community and Junior College Academic Team.

Amy Rebekah Melissa Mabile, of Bogue Chitto, was named to First Team and Gavin Wicker, of Summit, was named to Second Team. 

The Academic Team recognizes high-achieving two-year college students who demonstrate academic excellence and intellectual rigor, combined with leadership and service that extends their education beyond the classroom to benefit society.
