COLUMBIA — Mississippi Lottery Corporation reported a Lawrence County man won a big prize on May 9 and turned around a nice profit.

The prize of $100,000 was won by a Lawrence County man on a powerball ticket.

Mississippi Lottery Corporation reported the ticket was purchased from B-Kwik #13 in Columbia on April 29 for $36.
