BROOKHAVEN — Severe thunderstorms moving through Lincoln County early Monday morning have knocked out power. About 5,000 customers are without power.

Lincoln County School District stated they plan to have school today and have not made any decisions to cancel. They will continue to monitor the weather conditions.

Entergy reports 800 customers are without power in Lincoln County. Southwest Electric reports 1,111 customers are without power this morning.

Magnolia Electric reports 3,000 customers are without power with the majority around the Bogue Chitto area.
