Four county employees and three Lincoln County Jail trustees helped with the garbage collection.

“The trustees were our main people. They worked hard, everything worked really well,” Knight said. “We put in a total of 245 man hours. Everything went so well. Thank you to the Green Meadows employees who were there to help out, thanks for their cooperation with this event. Thank you to Donnie King for supplying bins for metal and electronics. Thank you to all of the people who came out and all the help we had.”

Knight said he hopes to host a fall cleanup day and perhaps a day for appliances like washers, stoves, dryers and refrigerators.
