Panthers rank as top science students

BROOKHAVEN — Students at Brookhaven High School recently competed with 66 students from across the state in an online competition test. The test covered the first year’s curriculum of Polymer Science 1.
Brookhaven Technical Center students posted eight out of the top 10 scores in Mississippi. Rivers Jordan took first place, Ian Iles took second and Thomas Baker and Carson Becker tied for third place.
Brookhaven School District stated “Congratulations to these students and their instructor Leah Ann Peavey.”
The competition was held in conjunction with the University of Southern Mississippi School of Polymer Science and Engineering.
