Funeral Services for Mary Charlene Robinson Pratt of Brookhaven are noon on Wednesday, Sep. 3, 2014, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Robinson Cemetery. The Rev. Isham David Conner will officiate. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cool Spring Baptist Church in Lucien and will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. until time of service at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Ackerman.

Mrs. Pratt, 85, died Aug. 27, 2014, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 17, 1928, in Choctaw County to Robert Frazier and Mary Marshall Robinson.

She loved to sing in choirs and with the Gospel Crusaders, which later was changed to the Spiritual Swans.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Cedell Pratt; and two children.

Survivors are her four devoted sons, Herman (Dorothy) Pratt, James C. (Juanita) Pratt, William (Annie) Pratt and Larry (Geneva) Pratt; three loving daughters, Nida (James) Crawford, Shirley (Michael) Esters and Melissa (Andrew) Vaughn; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
