Funeral Services for Charles Howard Linton of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in Easthaven Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, from 9 a.m. until time of service at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mr. Linton, 69, died Sept. 14, 2014, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Dec. 9, 1944, to Clifton Linton and Ruth Leggett Myers.

He was employed by Apache Woodgroup Oil Company. He was retired from Conoco Oil Company where he worked as production supervisor, and he served seven years in the Army Reserve. He was a member of Church of the Way.

Preceding him in death were his father; brother, George Earl Linton; grandparents, Walter and Nancy Linton and Van and Clara Leggett.

Survivors are his wife, Linda Linton; mother; son, David Linton; daughter, Phyllis Moak and husband, Brian; one grandson, Justin Linton; and step-brothers, Bobby Myers and Don Myers.
