Memorial Services for Shirley Ann Hammond Neal-Clark of Brookhaven will be held at a later date. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Clark, 61, died Dec. 25, 2014. She was born on July 6, 1953.

Mrs. Clark was married to Johnny Lee Neal until his death in 1987. Mrs. Clark lived most of her life in Lawrence County working as a nurses aide in the nursing home in Monticello, then chose her career as a school bus driver. She drove a bus for Topeka-Tilton for 12 years and Enterprise for 11 years. She was an active member of the Topeka VFD for many years, always willing to assist in any way to help the department and others in need. She was well known to be energetic, fun loving and dependable.

Survivors are her husband of 23 years, Johnny Clark, formerly of Ruth; daughter, Susie Ann Neal-Hodges and husband, Greg; son, Shannon Ray Hammond and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Zan Hodges, Kailyn Hodges, Rebecca Britt; and lifelong friend, Laraine Renfroe Brister-Lord.
