Funeral Services for Robert Otis Martin Sr. of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at Friendship Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services. He will lie in state on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Martin, 75, died Jan. 13, 2015, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 24, 1939, to Lloyd Binford Martin and Mildred Jones Martin.

He was a consultant in the petroleum oil industry. Mr. Martin was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and also a Mason and a Shriner.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandson, Charlie Hall; and great-grandson, Jared Case.

Survivors are his wife, Jerelene “Judy” Case Martin; sons, Bob Martin and wife, Wanda, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Reggie Martin and wife, Sheila of Brookhaven; daughters, Robin Case and husband, Dwain of Brookhaven, Becky Bowman and husband Tony, of Brookhaven; sisters, Mary Francis Smith of McCall Creek, Juanita Kimble of McCall Creek, and Patsy Case of Brookhaven; eight grandchildren, Carrie Adams and husband, Shane, Hunter Case and wife, Lacie, Josh Martin, Brooke Elliott and husband, Stephen, Christy Hasson and husband, John, Sandi Hall, Craig Bowman and wife, Tera, Kyle Bowman and wife, Melissa; and 21 great-grandchildren.
