Laughlin, a performance artist whose life’s work is enabling audiences to hear, see and feel the God of the Bible, will speak from the book of Revelation. Mayfield said the performance will be similar to a dramatic monologue.

“The book of Revelation is such an intriguing part of the Bible as it details the prophecies concerning the return of Jesus and the fulfillment of scripture,” Mayfield said. “People of all ages and denominations will enjoy and be richly blessed through this opportunity.”

Laughlin is the founder of Acts of the Word Ministries, a non-profit, non-denominational ministry dedicated to transforming people’s lives through the word of the Bible. As a performance artist, theologian and missionary to the church in America, his uniquely compelling dramatic solo scripture presentations include seven different books of the Bible, highlighting the epic story of God’s relationship with man: Genesis, Exodus, Ecclesiastes, Daniel, John’s Gospel, Acts of the Apostles and Revelation.

Laughlin has previously performed John’s Gospel at Easthaven. He maintains an active touring schedule at theaters, conferences and houses of worship, and his one-man shows have been presented all over the world. Recent works include John’s Gospel at the Southern Baptist Convention’s Pastor’s Conference in June, Mark’s Gospel at the Forum of Trajan in Rome, Italy, and Revelation at the Hampton Court Mid-Summer Festival in Hereford, England.

He is also the producer and host of the nationally syndicated radio talk show and social media platform called “The Moral Dilemma,” currently airing on more than 200 stations. For more information on Laughlin and his ministry, visit www.actsoftheword.com

The service will consist of two 45-minute acts with an intermission. Admission is free. For more information and to see video clips of Laughlin, visit www.easthaven.net.
