A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date for Peggy Ann Griffith. Mississippi Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Griffith died Feb. 19, 2015. She was born on June 2, 1942, in Vicksburg.

Survivors are her three children, Blaine G. Harkins of Raleigh, North Carolina, Hiram “Bubba” Griffith of Brookhaven and Georgiana G. Hawken of West Palm Beach, Florida; six grandsons; and one granddaughter.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, Baptist Hospital oncology division and Hospice Ministries.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and to JDRF.org in her honor.
