The Wastewater Treatment Facility in Brookhaven reported a high of 96 degrees for Monday and a low of 68. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday was 70 degrees. There was 0.0 inches of precipitation.

 

River Stages

On Monday the Mississippi River stage at Vicksburg, where the flood stage is 43 feet, was 12.8, down 0.8 feet in the past 24 hours. In Natchez, where the flood stage is 48 feet, was 20.9, down 0.8 feet in the past 24 hours. The Pearl River stage at Jackson was unreported for Monday.

 

Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department reported to a boy rescued from a well on Gene Road in West Lincoln. Firefighters responded at approximately 5:30 p.m. and returned around 9:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.

 

Copiah County Reports 

The Wesson Police Department reported to a suspect charged with possession with intent.   

 

King’s Daughters
Ambulance Report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service had 12 calls Monday; three were transfers, with two to Jackson and one to Hattiesburg. There were nine emergency calls, with seven medical, four in the city and three in the county. There were two traumas one in the city and one in the county.
