Mr. Robert Perry Riggs Sr., 67, of Wesson, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at his residence.

Mr. Riggs was born on Aug. 12, 1948, to Maxey S. Riggs Sr. and Jimmy B. Lassen.

He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1971 with Bachelor of Science in engineering, created and owned his own business, Dynamics Marine Inc., he was talented and gifted engineer and designed offshore service vessels.

He is survived by his son, Robert Benjamin Riggs; daughter, Jennifer Erin Riggs; brothers, Maxey S. Riggs Jr. and John Lassen; and sister, Linda Lassen; one grandchild, Karma Lynn Riggs; and former spouse, Tibby Riggs.

Memorials can be made to the Brookhaven Animal Rescue League.
